After a gigantic epiphany last Sunday night, the kind a person only gets once every few years, I went in my office to work on Monday, and I started the way I always do, which is to light a bunch of candles. I have a whole raft of tea lights on duty when I work on my novel and I feel weird if I haven’t lit at least two of them.
